Star Wars Outlaws - A Pirate's Fortune - Procedural Asteroid

For the Pirate's Fortune DLC, I was responsible for creating some of the large asteroid modules we needed to build our locations. This was largely build using the same workflow I developed for the main game where we needed tunnels and caves (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/oJb03O). This is a fully procedural Houdini workflow that allowed the team to focus on propping and storytelling while I focused on the technical aspect and optimization of the entire location to give the team an asteroid base to build upon. This helped lower the workload on both the Level Art team and the Prop team as the asteroid was fully handled by myself. Other asteroid locations not shown here were created by Chad Chatterton using the same process, who mainly looked at the early art direction of what the shell would look like together with Etienne Bednarz for materials.

The entire process was a team effort and required alot of communication with different artists.
